We can achieve more with less
With mealworms, we can achieve a much more efficient way of producing food, even up to 90% more than with traditional livestock. This is due to modern vertical agriculture. In doing so, we preserve nature and limit the release of CO2 gases into the atmosphere.
We feed our mealwroms exclusively with locally grown products such as carrots, potatoes and grains.
Great food
Mealworms are an excellent source of protein and vitamins, great as a treat for all types of pets. Mealworms are also an excellent feed for chickens, fish and pigs. Many people are surprised that mealworms are also suitable food for domestic animals such as cats and dogs, as well as for turtles and hedgehogs. They are also a must-have accessory for all terrarium lovers and their lizards, snakes, and spiders.
Due to their caloric value, mealworm feed is an excellent addition to the diet of animals recovering from illness or injury. They are also recommended in the diet of newborn animals.
Since 2021, they have also been approved as human food in the European Union. They are an excellent protein substitute as they contain more protein than traditional meat products.
